Concert Photography

Back in 2018, I decided to purchase my first DSLR camera. I remember reaching out to one of my editors and telling him that I was interested in shooting concerts. I asked if he needed a second shoot for the Roots Picnic - in my eyes shooting a daytime event would be easier than shooting in a dark concert venue with ever-changing lighting. He turned down my pitch to shoot the festival and said he’d keep me in mind for a “smaller” concert. A few weeks later he gets back to me and asks if I want to shoot the Miguel concert at the Fillmore. Since then I’ve shot Meek Mill, Lizzo Tayla Parx, Big Freedia, Monic and more.
